Why my performance is different
My performance offers something entirely unique: I am the live drummer who replaces the DJ. While electronic tracks drive the rhythm, I perform live percussion and drums directly over them.
In 2024, while on a family road trip, I was traveling with my compact act, Just In Case a unique, full drum kit that fits within a suitcase.
During the trip, I discovered a busking competition in a town of Cygnet. I decided, "Let's give this a shot," and immediately entered. The competition featured many truly amazing acts, but my unique style immediately stood out to the judges. My ability to deliver a full rhythmic performance using the compact 'Just In Case' kit proved to be a memorable experience among the talented field.

Oscar Erhardt is an accomplished drummer and Red Cymbals Ambassador whose specialty lies in fusing intricate rhythms into dynamic live performances. Driven by a lifelong passion—having played since age two, Oscar aims to bring joy to audiences through music.
He distinguishes himself by offering a unique rhythmic experience: performing live drums over Electronic and World tracks, creating a powerful and energetic alternative to the conventional DJ set. Oscar is currently sharpening his skills at a Music School on the outer suburbs of Melbourne where his training includes frequent performance with different school bands and participation in multiple orchestral ensembles.
